SwimFun, ISOA STEM Partnership
NEWS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jacksonville, FL. April 1, 2022 — Continuing efforts to provide best-in-class offerings to students and parents, SwimFun Academy & Survival Aquatics is excited to expand its STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) partnership with the International School of America. The unique collaboration will provide all SwimFun Members who participate in Stem-Centric Summer Camps and After-School Programs with hands-on science education materials to complement SwimFun’s Virtual Reality platform through Google Expeditions. Along with this technology, SwimFun Members will also be exposed to ISOA’s Character-Building program (The Kindness Generation & Anti-Bullying Platform) that directly coincides with SwimFun’s SwimBuddy 360 initiative. ISOA educators will connect via live broadcast into SwimFun Academy’s learning pod to connect with SwimFun Members and STEM Instructors. ISOA and SwimFun will continue to explore Science related curriculum that highlights our Ocean and brings attention to SwimFun’s Philantropic pledge.
“This partnership will provide access to engaging STEM materials through a fully-certified International School,” said Robert Panfili, SwimFun Ambassador. “From the beginning, we set out to disrupt the Swim School industry. By installing Gaming, VR and STEM-Centric activities with our ground-breaking Swim Academy, we are providing a year-round value proposition – and destination – for both SwimFun parents and children.”
“This collaborative effort delivers significant benefits to students,” said Brian Massey Tupper, Executive Director and Founder of ISOA. “It prevents learning loss in science; provides students with hands-on STEM materials during virtual learning, thereby increasing their engagement in STEM. Not only does this unique initiative provide high-quality, robust science education materials, it sets a stellar example for future partnerships among organizations with similar educational goals and a complimentary vision for character building of our youth. I absolutely love how SwimFun Academy found a fantastic way to blend STEM with Swim, Gaming and Character-Building.”

SwimFun announces flagship location
NEWS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jacksonville, FL. January 1, 2022 – SwimFun Academy & Survival Aquatics, the nation’s newest and most modern swim school franchise, announces the grand opening of their flagship location in Jacksonville, FL. The new state-of-the-art facility, located at 14797 Phillips Highway on the Duval County/St. Johns County border, is uniquely positioned in the Above Athletics Complex to serve the booming areas of Nocatee, Durbin, Beachwalk, Rivertown and South Jacksonville.
“Businesses like SwimFun do more than call Jacksonville home,” remarked Robert Panfili, SwimFun Ambassador. “We serve the families of St. Johns and Duval Counties (and beyond) to ensure the utmost safety and growth for their children. We’re proud to have the SwimFun Headquarters as a part of the thriving St. Johns community and will work to make the world a safer place for children and families all over our water-filled area.”
Beyond the pool, SwimFun Academy & Survival Aquatics Franchise Headquarters will utilize their modern and intentionally designed facility to train new franchisees as well as equip school leadership teams with the skills they need to run successful swim schools both nationally and internationally. “When we surveyed the existing Swim School and Infant Aquatics landscape, we quickly realized there was a major void. We have disrupted an antiquated industry and modernized a concept to offer parents quality swim instruction with a multi-functional year-round value proposition for their children,” said Panfili. “Little did we know what our vision would translate into today. This new facility gives us a unique opportunity to serve our future franchise owners as well as families all over the world, offering them the most advanced swim academy structure and modernized Survival Aquatics programs available to keep children safe in and around the water for a lifetime.”
