Our pools are equipped with above water cameras to help with instant visual feedback to view progress or refine your swim technique. Private swim lessons help kids become more comfortable in the water while enhancing their swim skills.

SwimFun Academy Memberships

Membership is required for SwimFun Academy group lessons. There are never any contracts and you can cancel anytime with appropriate notice. We have a dynamic schedule so you can select days and times that work around your child’s schedule each season. Many parents like to partner up with their “Mom Groups” and also have the flexibility to coordinate lesson days with their child’s friend groups pending availability.

SwimBand White (Level 1)

This is where your child fundamentally learns to swim. In Survival Aquatics, they learn to survive. We assess each child by evaluating their current skills and build upon that foundation. The beginning learning stage focuses on perfecting the float, building the kick, and working towards the Settle.Spin.Swim. Survive.™ sequence. Children are introduced to propulsion skills for water survival and will begin to learn how to put arms and legs together for freestyle. Note this is similar to our SwimFun Bridge Program, but for those children that have not necessarily partaken in SwimFun’s Survival Aquatics Program.

SwimBand Red (Level 2)

Swimmers focus on the correct arm and leg coordination for two strokes: freestyle & backstroke. Students are constantly moving in this swimming class that focuses on technique and proper posture during the strokes. Swimmers are introduced to side breathing for freestyle and have a performance goal of swimming freestyle and backstroke independently for a short distance.

SwimBand Yellow (Level 3)

Swimmers focus on the correct arm, leg, and breathing coordination for freestyle and are introduced to the butterfly stroke. Students continue to hone fundamentals and master freestyle & backstroke by performing the strokes for longer distances. Students are constantly moving in this swimming class and gaining confidence. Beginning underwater drills are introduced.

SwimBand Green (Level 4)

Green means Go; This level is “putting it all together.” Swimmers continue to perfect their technique in freestyle, backstroke, and butterfly, and learn the fourth stroke – breaststroke. Underwater drills continue to elevate and flip turns for freestyle and backstroke are introduced.

SwimBand Blue (Level 5)

Blue is our color and our SwimFun kids should be proud to achieve this status. At this level, swimmers will successfully swim the length of our pool in all four strokes, gain strength through agility and underwater drills, increase speed and stamina in the water, and learn how to complete an individual medley, with proper technique and turns.

SwimBuddy 360

Our proprietary SwimBuddy 360 program is implemented in ALL of our SwimBand programs. We are most proud of this program as it is based on Water Ethics, Sportsmanship, Integrity, Confidence, Respect and Protection – and profoundly ingrains into all of our SwimFun kids how to be a watchful and protective eye in the water.

Private Lessons

We offer private 1:1 lessons for those that want a more personalized offering…or for those that want to prep for Competitive Swim.

Swim Team Prep - Featuring BURST Training

We offer an advanced program for those that want to prepare for the next level in their swim sport development. Focus is placed on speed, agility and next-level stroke refinement.

Infant/Baby SurvivalAquatics™

This 4-5week* program teaches infants to roll over from a face down or submerged position onto their backs to breathe and relax, while fully clothed. This program reinforces proper techniques in order for your child to survive in the event he/she falls into the water. Sessions will consist of wall work, floating techniques, rolling techniques, and breath awareness. Lessons are 1:1, 4-days a week, 10 minutes long for 4-5 consecutive weeks. Foundations of the Settle. Spin. Swim. Survive.™ sequence are introduced. *Every baby learns at different time intervals. A 5th week may be required if our instructor feels more progress is needed or if any lessons are missed during the initial 4-week period.

Toddler SurvivalAquatics™

This 5-6week* program teaches toddlers and younger children the Settle. Spin. Swim. Survive.™ sequence. Children will learn to swim a short distance with their face fully submerged, to roll onto their back to float whenever they need to breathe, and to flip back onto their tummy to continue to swim to safety. The Settle. Spin. Swim. Survive.™ sequence serves as the foundation for future stroke development and prepares our SwimFun Survival Aquatics kiddos to advance to our one-of-a-kind “Bridge” Program in preparation to eventually advance to our SwimFun Academy group lessons. Lessons are 1:1, 4 days a week, 10 minutes long for 5-6 consecutive weeks. *Every child learns at different time intervals. On occasion, children sometimes “graduate” a week early whereas some may need an additional week.

SurvivalAquatics™ - Older Ages

You will learn to perform the Settle. Spin. Swim. Survive.™ sequence across the pool in preparation for introductory stroke technique group classes. They will be able to perform all of their skills while fully clothed. Lessons are 1:1, 4 days a week, 10 minutes long for 4-5 consecutive weeks. The program then morphs into our SwimFun “Bridge” program to prepare for Swim Academy readiness. Parents have the option to bypass the SwimFun Bridge program and enter their child into SwimFun’s SwimBand White class.

SwimFun Adaptive Aquatics

SwimFun Academy is proud to offer Special Needs Swim Programs for children with autism, sensory challenges, ADHD and physical disabilities. Our programs help these children overcome personal obstacles to learn to swim, improve their confidence, better their fitness, and learn more about water safety. We create a calming, patient and reassuring atmosphere. Children with autism are drawn into the water and 91% of all wandering deaths for autistic children are because of drowning. Autistic children see, feel and understand things in a different way, and SwimFun understands the best techniques to help your child learn to swim and be safe around the water. Every child is different, so our Instructors deploy child-centered methods and flexible teaching to make our program work for all. These classes are offered 1:1 and in groups. SwimFun’s 360 Surround Buddy System is a foundational element of our Adaptive Aquatics program. Comradery amongst our SwimFun kids forges life-long friendships.

Military Appreciation Aquatics

SwimFun Academy is proud to offer Swim Sessions and Programs to children of military personnel who are currently deployed.

Aqua Pilates

Aqua Pilates is a new form of exercise that is taking the world by storm and offered to SwimFun Academy’s Moms & Dads on select weekends. These simple, but effective, workouts really do strengthen your core and allow you to be at your best in your daily life. Taking these exercises into the water increases their effectiveness and will have a huge effect on your workout.

SwimFun Scuba

A special program for SwimFun members who are at least 8 years of age that blends classroom and water instruction. Kids demonstrate their swimming skills and learn how to snorkel with a mask, a snorkel and fins. How to help other children is also emphasized. Potential divers are introduced to diving equipment. After learning what everything is and how it’s used, kids go into the pool with equipment for the first time.

SwimFun Ninja

We are in the design stages of a water-based obstacle course that will be offered to SwimFun Academy members to improve their agility and level-up their fun!
